Love first, before feeling a need to live
Sway first, without being blown to sway
Choose first, choose love now and every day

Do you wish to see a newer world?
Politics pollute, turn heart to pearl
Travel time, defy the stream
Dare to live and strive to dream

Howling to many is nowhere to start
One at a time, so passes the spark
A little love here, a gift given there
Ye needn’t feel forced to love and to share

Anger not lest ye fall away
A gentle word has the strongest say
Teach a man to fish, yet lend while ye may
Take brother in arm, hold hatred at bay

It isn’t hard to follow such creed
When while you want, there are others in need
The world needn’t force you to do what is right
By your hand through God, reveal his light
